Technical Project Delivery Manager
 
Agility 360 is looking for a Technical Project Manager / Advisor for a government loan and grant program within the energy sector. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded background in construction, environmental and regulatory compliance, risk management, and technical feasibility. Main responsibilities will include monitoring construction progress, assessing existing and/or planned operating capabilities, and reviewing operating assumptions inherent to an applicant’s project’s financial forecast model.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct evaluations for design, technology, and technical feasibility for the project, to include both construction and operational phases
  • Review environmental impact assessments, review status of required permits, and otherwise identify and technical issues pertaining to environmental and regulatory compliance
  • Identify and evaluate project technical risks, including construction, operational, technology, regulatory, and environmental risks
  • Assess the mitigation measures put in place and suggest additional mitigation factors
  • Evaluate the project’s production estimates and create a conservative lender’s care forecast for production volumes and recommend lender’s case changes
  • Review project contracts for technical/engineering issues, including construction contracts, supply contracts for fuel (if applicable), power purchase agreements, EPC contracts, and O&M contracts
  • Recommend lender’s case changes to borrow assumption for operational expenses, construction schedules, and any other operational aspects as appropriate for the financial model
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate risks to prevent issues
  • Responsible for delivery of due diligence, site inspection, and performance monitoring reports
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required in finance, business, engineering, or another related field
  • 3+ years of project management experience 
  • 2+ years of experience in financial modeling, loan processing, or grant management
  • 1+ years of experience working with public utilities (i.e., energy, water)
  • Previous experience successfully creating proposals, reviewing, and monitoring contracts
  • Provide SME level insights and recommendations
  • Must be able to lead a team and be responsible to the delivery of KPIs and project deadlines
