The RESPA Associate will be responsible for performing a Real Estate Settlement Procedure Act (RESPA) tolerance audit on all funded loans by comparing last valid fees to final charges. The audit will require auditor to gather all needed documentation to perform such audit and enter pertinent information into the provided audit tool and identify overcharges to borrower.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Gather all loan estimates, closing disclosure, change of circumstances letter and service provide list
• Enter document data into audit tool and ensure accuracy
• Review system changes to determine loan triggers (LOS: Encompass, MAXX) and ensure fee increase occurred within 3 business days
• Create Closing Disclosures documenting tolerance cure and ensuring cash to close to borrower is unchanged/balanced
• Communicate with closing team to identify loan triggers
