Sr. Technical Writer Consultant - Dallas, TX (Hybrid Schedule)

Agility 360 is looking for an experienced Sr.Technical Writer Consultant for a client project. The project is expected to last several weeks to a couple of months but may be extended based on project needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial, audit, and compliance background as well as experience working with commercial lending. Ideal candidates must also have some experience creating and deploying governance frameworks for lending institutions and understand the design of comprehensive compliance programs. Candidates must be located in Texas (preferably Austin) or willing to commute to the client project site, as needed.

Functional Scope:

  • Discover and define specific program stakeholder requirements by working alongside internal team to further build out
  • Design, develop and collaborate to establish vision and high-level framework.
  • Create and implement internal and external compliance monitoring and/or reporting program

Skill Set:

  • Experience working with public/private organizations to develop compliance and governance guidelines and procedures
  • Knowledge of schema to assess risk and implement systems for internal control framework.
    • Experience with documenting and implementing risk management framework and mapping to internal controls framework.  Design of internal controls and working to assess the effectiveness of controls. 
    • Leverage information to inform the internal control framework and design of specific controls to mitigate risk.
  • Previous experience creating strategies to assess, improve and monitor enterprise-wide internal control programs (e.g. Sarbanes-Oxley, Data Protection and Privacy).
  • Experience writing relevant SOPs.
  • Team player that is flexible and interested in contributing to a unique project

Background and Experience:

  • Knowledge of large/complex financial transaction and commercial lending
  • Experience with public-private contracts/projects or similar environments
  • Audit and/or governance consulting experience preferred
  • Accounting, financial controls, and/or senior level financial analysis
  • “Greenfield” level program deployment experience

Details:

  • Primarily remote contract project
  • Pay rate based on experience
  • Must be located in Texas (preferably Austin) or willing to commute a few times a month
  • Employment is contingent on passing a background check and drug screening
