Reverse Mortgage-Loss Analysis

Agility 360 is looking for  Reverse Mortgage Specialist for a client’s growing team in the Dallas Fort-Worth area. Primary responsibilities include providing clerical support, including assistance in reviewing and processing Line of Business requests, completing reconciliation, monitoring, and maintain system of record with information related to all loan files according to internal & regulatory policies for the servicing of Reverse Mortgages. Loss Draft Specialist must be capable of understanding financial ledgers, as well using critical thinking when researching and reconciling data.
 

Requirements/Essential Skills

  • Hazard insurance claims experience is a plus (2 years of mortgage servicing experience is preferred)
  • Strong communication skills required, both verbal and written
  • Proven ability to problem solve, and a strong compliance focus
  • Proficient in Excel (familiar with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and other simple formulas)
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively
  • Strong compliance focus
  • Graduation from a 4-year college or university or 4 years in hazard insurance claims experience
  • Experience in Mortgage Servicing
  • Proven track record of working/managing multiple processes
  • General understanding of federal and state mortgage servicing requirements, standards and servicing processes preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office products, including Excel and its functions
  • Audit/QC and Training Experience is a plus

Job Duties

  • Work with internal lines of businesses and external vendors to prevent institutional risk
  • Subject Matter Expert in hazard insurance claims and other Escrow Oversight experience
  • Manages data inflow and outflow from vendor
  • Manages escalated communication via email and phone calls from internal/external sources
  • Acts as a point of contact for Escrow vendors and customer contact, including regular meetings, escalations, and data integrity
  • Ensure all lost draft and other escrow documentation is reviewed and saved in a centralized location
  • Responsible for quality control regarding documentation accuracy
  • Responsible for making outbound calls to customers to assist the customer with completing their hazard insurance claim


Job Details

  • 6+ month contract role
  • Position is based in DFW area
  • Non-Exempt, OT Eligible
  • Hourly pay range between $16-$23
