Agility 360 is searching for an experienced Post-Close QC Underwriter for a perm role with our client in the Dallas, TX area. The Post-Close QC Underwriter is responsible for ensuring that loans are adhering to its quality control requirements. Underwriters are responsible for a full review of random, targeted, and discretionary selected files.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Review of loan files to verify accuracy and completeness of both purchase and refinance transactions prior to Closing/Funding (FHA/VA/Conv/USDA)
  • Conducting a full credit review of files to ensure investor and agency guidelines are met.
  • Determining the rating of deficiencies found in the loan file.
  • Communicating to all Regional Operation Centers (ROCs) all audit findings
  • Assessing completeness of loan file and documentation prior to releasing loan for funding.
  • Forensic auditors will focus on misrepresentation and fraud prevention in target loans exhibiting high-risk characteristics.
Core Requirements: 

For Consideration, the ideal candidate should have at least some of the following:

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in mortgage lending, with a focus on working actively with loan files.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience dealing with residential mortgages
  • Prior underwriting experience  is a plus
  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Able to utilize Excel and customized internal reports to source and track data
  • Highly developed time management, organization, planning, and prioritization skills
  • Able to effectively communicate with all levels of management including Senior Management
  • Must possess a high degree of integrity and confidentiality, as well as the ability to adhere to both company policy and best practices
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to effectively set priorities and meet strict deadlines
  • Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work on large projects within a team environment and on small assignments with little or no supervision.
  • Must possess solid verbal and written communication skills to effectively identify business needs and help solve problems

Job Details:
  • The role is remote till further notice
  • Salary Range: $55,000-$75,000 annually depending on experience
