Agility 360 is looking for qualified and experienced Sr. Processors who would like to transition into Underwriting as a Junior Underwriter for our client in the Tampa, Florida area. Our client, a growing non-bank lender/servicer is hiring junior underwriters who will works directly with Underwriters to learn how to categorize, review, and clear conditions to help them with quality assurance of the file. Also responsible for routing mortgage loan files through internal processing systems and obtain information needed to assist other processing team members in completing a file in order to achieve final approval from underwriting departments, and then into closing status.

Job Duties

• Review items needed on conditional approval
• Review and clear conditions post clear to close and funding conditions
• Review system for accuracy and ensure that all items that are needed for final approval have been collected and categorized
• Assist with Underwriting Scenario questions and research
• Performs other related duties as required
• Approve or deny mortgages on a timely basis
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of each loan
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned
• Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values

Knowledge Areas
Need to have a thorough understanding and experience in:

• Experience with underwriting to multiple lender guidelines and requirements
• Knowledge of Fannie Mae/DU and Freddie Mac guidelines and automated underwriting systems
• Critically examine credit, income and asset documents and review title policy and appraisals

Requirements

• 2-5 years of recent experience as a Senior Loan Processor or Junior Underwriter
• Working knowledge of processing loans for FHA, VA, USDA and Conventional Agency Loans
• Ability to handle a heavy workload
• Ability to work in a high production environment
• Highly detailed and organized with ability to multi-task
• High level of integrity and trust
• Comprehension of FNMA, FHLMC and other investor guidelines
• Experience with Automated Underwriting Systems
• Possess strong analytical skills

• Salary Range: $55,000-$62,000
