Agility 360 is seeking an experienced Plumber to join our growing team of construction professionals. Responsibilities will include a variety of plumbing tasks ranging from fixing leakages to installing pipes and HVAC systems. The qualified candidate must demonstrate consistency, dependability, and willingness to work hard and take pride in their workmanship.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Repair or replace plumbing fixtures; test joints and pipe systems for leaks, open clogged drains, measure, cut, thread, bend, ream and install pipe and pipe fittings.
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems.
  • Cut, assemble, and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure (e.g. electrical wiring)
  • Assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing, or welding equipment.
  • Install and maintain water supply systems.
  • Cut openings in structures to accommodate pipes or pipe fittings, using hand or power tools.
  • Work cooperatively with a team to complete required jobs.
  • Work with peers and leadership to evaluate job requirements and cost.
  • Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to management.
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned by construction management.

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED preferred
  • 2-3 years plumbing experience preferred
  • Current plumbing license
  • Must have valid drivers license and registered vehicle
  • Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems
  • Working knowledge of heating and ventilation systems as well as appliances
  • In-depth knowledge of maintenance and repairs of plumbing systems
  • Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers, etc.)
  • Excellent stamina and good physical condition required
  • Ability to add and subtract in all units of standard U.S. measures, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to carry out instructions communicated in writing, orally or in diagram form
  • Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, crawl spaces, etc.)
  • May require working at heights including on rooftops, climbing ladders, and stairs
  • Ability to complete work on time with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work wells with others in a collaborative team environment
  • Willingness to travel to this and other job sites as necessary
  • Must be willing to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as assigned

  • Salary: $20 to $25.00 /hour
  • Travel may be required
