Billing Specialist

Agility 360 is searching for a Billing Specialist for a 7-month, contract-to-hire role with our growing client. This comes with a hybrid schedule, requiring at least 1x in-office day per month in Irving, TX. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of billing experience, either in mortgage, insurance, or finance environments. 


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Generate and distribute invoices with supporting documentation, maintaining accurate customer records
• Issue customer statements and process credit memos and account adjustments
• Ensure all adjustments meet approval requirements in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) standards
• Monitor account balances, identify discrepancies, and resolve billing issues
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve issues and improve processes

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS ADDITIONAL DETAILS

• High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1 - 3 years of billing experience required
• Knowledge of collections, accounts receivable, accounting process and systems
• Strong Excel skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent customer service, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities
• Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to prioritize workload, meet tight deadlines, and perform in fast-paced environments
• Experience with Oracle Financials is a plus, along with a track record of developing process improvements

 Physical Requirements:

• Position requires all forms of dexterity/mobility which may include extended periods of sitting/standing. May occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, twist, climb or balance, stoop, kneel crouch or crawl.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to speak and hear, lift and carry up to twenty-five pounds (25 lbs.) or occasionally more. 
• May be required to drive for business purposes and must hold a valid driver’s license in good standing and maintain personal auto insurance in compliance with local or state requirements.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, occasionally noisy, or distracting environment. 

 DETAILS:

• 7-month, contract-to-hire role with our client
• Hybrid schedule, min. of 1x a month onsite in Irving, TX
• Mon-Fri; 7am-4pm CST (OT will be required during month end)
• Pay range: $21-$22/hr
• Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screen
