Mortgage Loan Officer


JOB DESCRIPTION

Agility 360 looking for experienced mortgage loan officers, for our client in Dallas Fort-Worth area, who have a passion for delivering the highest level of customer care while working in a growing, fast-paced lending business, can present mortgage opportunities to future clients over the phone and will take applications all the way to funding.

Essential Functions
• Communicates professionally and clearly to clients when explaining mortgage products and proposing the best solution for the customer’s needs
• Uses leads transferred from Customer Service, makes outbound calls on prospective clients, introduces them to BSI, and qualifies them for the most beneficial new mortgage possible
• Sells mortgages in accordance with all regulations and training, and only takes calls in areas where licensed. Ability to maintain licensing in most states.
• Builds rapport and collects pertinent information from the customer.
• Locks loans on Calyx software, after checking prices with several wholesale and correspondent lenders.
• Collects and sends all paperwork as necessary and provides excellent customer service and follow up.
• Explains to clients over the phone on how to get to funding, ensuring all paperwork and signatures needed to process the mortgage are collected timely and accurately.
• Partners with internal operations to consistently produce quality files. Maintains active communication with the processing team concerning client needs.
• Occasional early morning/late evening work required.
• Attends all trainings, sales meetings, orientations as directed.
• Increases personal knowledge of the mortgage industry by reading publications and the Internet.
• Maintains timely and accurate records of all customer activity. Maintains a high level of accountability for results and metrics.

Competencies/Skills
• Knowledge of the Calyx origination software is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Ability to achieve sales goals and perform metrics.
• Proficiency in MS Office programs, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook. Able to use the Internet or other software programs.
• Ability to multitask; self-starter and self-motivator.
• Ability to close 10+ loans per month and make 3 outbound calls for each inbound call received.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Ability to sit for long periods of time is essential.

Education and Experience
• High School Diploma, GED, or experience equivalent.
• Three or more years of experience in a call center or inside phone sales.
• Has or can obtain licensing in all states where licenses are required based on company licensing footprint and distribution.

Must be local to the DFW area, preferably within 15 miles or 30 minutes of Irving, TX.
Salary: $30,000 plus bonuses
