Deposit Operations Specialist (IntraFi, CDARS, Cash Management) - Contract

Agility 360 is searching for Deposit Operations Specialist for a 6-month contract role located in the Phoenix, AZ area  to support daily operations and servicing activities for Insured Deposit Solution (IDS) products, including IntraFi (ICS, CDARS, IND) and Reich & Tang (R&T) platforms. This role is responsible for account onboarding, transaction processing, reconciliations, settlement activities, cash management administration, FDIC-insured deposit products, and operational reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong banking operations experience, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining regulatory compliance, operational controls, and excellent customer service.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Process and maintain Insured Deposit Solution (IDS) products and services across IntraFi (ICS, CDARS, IND) and Reich & Tang (R&T) platforms in accordance with established procedures, service level expectations, regulatory requirements, and operational controls.
  • Perform new account onboarding, customer profile creation, account maintenance, account conversions, product changes, account closures, liquidations, and customer migrations between IDS platforms.
  • Process ICS and R&T manual transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, liquidations, closures, settlement activity, and related general ledger postings.
  • Administer CDARS account activity, including new placements, maturity processing, renewals, redemptions, early withdrawals, maturity notices, trial balance preparation, pre-balancing, mass exchange file support, and exception resolution.
  • Establish and maintain cash manager accounts, combined statements, related balance functionality, multi-tier sweep structures, deficit and excess sweeps, overdraft relationships, peg balances, and liquidity management configurations.
  • Process customer and account maintenance requests, including address updates, exclusions/opt-outs, rate changes, account number changes, Depositor Control Panel (DCP) access maintenance, ownership changes, profile updates, and service conversions between IDS products and platforms.
  • Create and maintain R&T rate plans, customer rate structures, tiered pricing schedules, Fed Funds-based pricing programs, and associated system reports and notifications.
  • Perform daily, monthly, quarterly, and year-end operational processing activities, including reconciliation, balancing, settlement validation, reporting, account monitoring, and audit support.
  • Complete daily balancing and reconciliation activities for ICS, CDARS, R&T, IND, WATC, Stable Custody, and related general ledger accounts, researching and resolving balancing exceptions and out-of-balance conditions.
  • Monitor and process FTM work queues, online dollar transactions, settlement activity, cash manager requests, account exceptions, system-generated reports, workflow requests, and operational alerts.
  • Perform Business Banking (BeB) account linking, combined statement maintenance, investment reporting setup, and online banking profile administration.
  • Support SACA account administration, customer exclusions, FDIC coverage configurations, account ownership updates, depositor access management, and specialized customer servicing requirements.
  • Generate, validate, distribute, and maintain operational, reconciliation, incentive, call report, audit, and management reporting packages.
  • Utilize FIS IBS, IntraFi, R&T CAP, FTM, FCM/Image Center, Digital Administration Tool (BST), SharePoint, Power BI, IDS Workflow, Total Banking Solutions (TBS), and related systems to perform operational responsibilities.
  • Conduct callback reviews, dual-control verification, and quality control reviews of account setups, maintenance requests, transaction activity, sweep configurations, and customer instructions.
  • Research and resolve account discrepancies, reconciliation variances, transaction exceptions, system errors, order failures, settlement issues, and customer inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate records, operational documentation, audit evidence, and workflow comments to support regulatory, audit, risk management, and records retention requirements.
  • Participate in business continuity and disaster recovery activities, including contingency processing procedures during system, vendor, workflow, or operational outages.
  • Assist with system implementations, process improvements, workflow automation initiatives, testing activities, procedural development, and strategic department projects.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Treasury Management, Wealth Management, Accounting, Finance, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Operations Support, and external vendors to support customer service and operational initiatives.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS ADDITIONAL DETAILS
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Banking Operations, Deposit Operations, Treasury Services, Cash Management Operations, or a related financial services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of deposit operations, account servicing, cash management products, sweep structures, liquidity management, and transaction processing.
  • Working knowledge of IntraFi products (ICS, CDARS, IND), Reich & Tang platforms, cash manager administration, and FDIC-insured deposit products.
  • Experience with account reconciliations, balancing procedures, settlement processing, general ledger controls, and exception management.
  • Understanding of operational risk management, dual-control procedures, callback verification requirements, audit standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Proficiency with FIS IBS, IntraFi, R&T CAP, FTM, SharePoint, Microsoft Excel, and other banking or financial systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and business units.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Position requires all forms of dexterity/mobility which may include extended periods of sitting/standing. May occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, twist, climb or balance, stoop, kneel crouch or crawl.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to speak and hear, lift and carry up to twenty-five pounds (25 lbs.) or occasionally more. 
  • May be required to drive for business purposes and must hold a valid driver’s license in good standing and maintain personal auto insurance in compliance with local or state requirements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, occasionally noisy, or distracting environment. 

DETAILS:
  • Pay Rate: $21 - $25 per hour (based on experience)
  • Contract Length: 6-month contract with potential for extension based on business needs
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
  • Location: Phoenix, AZ (Fully Onsite)
