Associate Attorney (Mortgage) - Dallas, Texas

 
Agility 360 is searching for a Associate Attorney with a background in Mortgage to join our client's legal practice located in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will have experience in the areas of Mortgage Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, Eviction, Replevin, and Litigation. Must be licensed to practice in the State of Texas and Louisiana. 

Responsibilities

  • Attending court hearings in several counties throughout the state
  • Management of files and monitoring of cases to ensure deadlines are met
  • Document preparation and review including complaints, judgment and sale pleadings
  • Drafting responses to pleadings
  • Preparing and responding to discovery
  • Legal research
Skills
  • 8+ years of related experience in the specified field
  • Experience with Black Knight and FNMA guidelines are a plus
  • Juris Doctor Degree from an ABA accredited university
  • Must be licensed in State of Texas and Louisiana
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and produce an accurate and high-quality work product

Physical Requirements:

  • Position requires all forms of dexterity/mobility which may include extended periods of sitting/standing. May occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, twist, climb or balance, stoop, kneel crouch or crawl.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to speak and hear, lift and carry up to twenty-five pounds (25 lbs.) or occasionally more.
  • May be required to drive for business purposes and must hold a valid driver’s license in good standing and maintain personal auto insurance in compliance with local or state requirements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, occasionally noisy, or distracting environment.

  • Direct hire, full-time position
  • Operations take place in Dallas, TX but assisting files in Louisiana
  • Salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 / year (based on experience)
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening
