Eviction Paralegal - Warwick, RI
Agility 360 is searching for an Eviction Paralegal for a direct hire position with our law client located in Rhode Island. You will be responsible for ensuring a smooth running of the office and utilize effective case management skills. The ideal candidate will have previous default servicing experience and must be self-motivated. This is a full-time, on-site position so reliable transportation is a must. Experience with evicitions in general preferred.

Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Evicition Manager and Attorneys and enhance office efficiency
- Handle communication with clients, borrowers, etc
- Conduct investigations and statistical/documentary research
- Locate and develop case relevant information
- Draft and file basic legal documents and correspondence
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Maintain up-to-date contact lists
- Monitor deadlines and navigate multiple calendars
Skills
- 1 - 3 years of Paralegal experience
- 1 - 3 years of Evicition experience
- Familiarity with law, legal procedures and protocols, and court system
- Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office
- Working knowledge of case management software
- Excellent secretarial and organizational skills
- Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure
- Prefer experience in BKFS; TEMPO; ADR; DRA
- Proficient in running PACER and SCRA
- Communicate with clients and borrowers, and the Courts
- File pleadings with the Courts
Physical Requirements:
- Position requires all forms of dexterity/mobility which may include extended periods of sitting/standing. May occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, twist, climb or balance, stoop, kneel crouch or crawl.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to speak and hear, lift and carry up to twenty-five pounds (25 lbs.) or occasionally more.
- May be required to drive for business purposes and must hold a valid driver’s license in good standing and maintain personal auto insurance in compliance with local or state requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, occasionally noisy, or distracting environment.

- Pay: $40,000 - $50,000 per year (based on experience)
- On-site position in Warwick, RI
- Employment is contingent on passing a background check and drug screening
