Description
Agility 360 is looking for Document Control Specialists for our client, a full-service national mortgage lender and agency direct seller/servicer. Client originates loans through various channels and transaction types, including a network of retail branches, wholesale lending, correspondent and emerging banker lending, and a consumer-direct centralized operation specializing in a variety of loan programs for purchase and refinance such as conforming, jumbo, and government products. It also offers innovative servicing solutions for both conforming and non-conforming loans. It is led by a veteran senior management team that consists of mortgage banking professionals with a history of building successful national mortgage operations. 

POSITION SUMMARY
The Document Control Specialist handles mortgage collateral documents and files and is expected to distribute, receive, create, and image per departmental procedure. It may be required to review documents to record key information. The DCS must be proactive in supporting team members and management; responding positively to internal and external customer issues; and, willingly contributing to projects and requests that may fall beyond the scope of the usual job accountability.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• General document processing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, where multi-tasking is key to ongoing success.
• Request documents from custodians.
• Review incoming documents.
• Prepare documents for FC/BK Attorneys needing files/original documents or copies.
• Upload PDFs into the imaging system, receive, sort, file, distribute and/or ship requests.
• May prepare files for loan sales or general requests.
• Handle all escalated document issues.
• Confirm FedEx tracking for delivery.
• Prepare documents for imaging and image files as requested.
• Additional Duties as necessary or research tasks as needed.
• Reviews trailing documents for required documentation.
• Ensures loan documents meet compliance guidelines.
• Completes work within established review deadlines.
• Serve as subject matter expert (SME) regarding client’s policies, procedures, products, promotions and technology.

QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 + years of experience in researching files for compliance, according to internal and/or external standards and procedures is desired.
• Current, working knowledge of the Microsoft Office.
• Ability to accurately type an average of 40 WPM.
• Experience with Fiserv, Aspect, LPS, or similar system is desired.
• 1 + years of experience in a lending environment is desired.
