Post-Closing Manager (Mortgage) - Irvine, CA
Agility 360 is looking for a Post-Closing Manager for our growing mortgage client located in Irvine, CA. The ideal candidate will possess previous leadership experience in mortgage operations (Correspondent and/or Retail Lending), working knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, and maintains company culture standards and best practices.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Ensure all required post closing tasks are completed in a timely and compliant manner
- Confirm all files have Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems (MERS), collateral shipped, PCCD's and trailing documents received and when applicable FHA insured, VA Guaranteed, UCD's, funding fee and MIP paid
- Fulfill audit and third party due diligence obligations, working with internal departments to facilitate resolution on outstanding items
- Monitor and ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., RESPA, TRID, HMDA) in post-closing activities
- Lead and develop a team; responsible for hiring, coaching, performance management, training and development
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of related experience in Mortgage Operations or similar field
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous leadership experience strongly preferred
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
- Intermediate experience with Encompass
- Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills
Physical Requirements:
- Position requires all forms of dexterity/mobility which may include extended periods of sitting/standing. May occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, twist, climb or balance, stoop, kneel crouch or crawl.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to speak and hear, lift and carry up to twenty-five pounds (25 lbs.) or occasionally more.
- May be required to drive for business purposes and must hold a valid driver’s license in good standing and maintain personal auto insurance in compliance with local or state requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, occasionally noisy, or distracting environment.
